Great place for lunch in Lisbon
If you fancy lunch in a 13th Century Convent then Cervejaria Trindade will be a delight. Very impressive, great food, good value but not quiet ! http://www.cervejariatrindade.pt/
Re: Great place for lunch in Lisbon
I'd second Trindade - a beer and a steak sandwich...... and Portugalia in the Av.Almirante Reis is an alternate (https://www.portugalia.pt/en/our-location.html)
BUT, without doubt, the finest eatery is just up the road, still on Av.Almirante Reis, Cervejaria Ramiro (https://geral24128.wixsite.com/cervejar ... copia-home)..... but fair warning, you might have to queue!! For a great experience at a reasonable price, a dish of clams (Amêijoas à Bolhão Pato) served with buttered toasted bread - and then the "pièce de résistance", a Prego do Lombo (sirloin steak sandwich)....to emulate M&S adverts, this is not just a Prego, this is a Ramiro Prego do Lombo!! Ordered as the "cap" to a seafood dish, this is often confusingly called Ramiro's "sobremesa" - the only time you're likely to eat a "desert" made of meat!!!
