There can never be too much online resource and I welcome a forum dedicated to life in Portugal.

I guess the only issue is the potential duplication of things covered elsewhere and/or those things that fall between the cracks ..... so I'd ask clarification on links out to other online resources..... because, whilst they might make this forum less "clean", they will enable us to refer out to things covered in depth elsewhere.

Good luck and keep up the good work, I'll be happy to help where I can.

Welcome to the forum macilam - I think this forum has to have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and should be a place where posts with even blatant self promotion links are permitted once (and only once but deleted if repeated or in any way obtrusive) it's very difficult for any of us to know whether information being provided is impartial and without vested interest so the best advice is - if you are in any doubt, to take all you read as guidance only, check it with others and then make up your own mind.

Commercial links to products and suppliers are the way of the world and we all need them to research our ideas and to make decisions. Whilst forum admin reserves the right to edit or delete forum content the preference, indeed the requirement, is for free and open friendly discussion on all matters.
